Entries are pouring in, allaying any fears I had about out Tribute "friends" scaring off Mille entrants. Makes me feel good that so many people like the way we salute the Mille Miglia.

This is our biggest event of the year.
1000 miles throughout Northern California over 4 days.
Our first night will be at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. The new feature this year is that we’ll be staying two nights at the Hyatt Incline Village (Lake Tahoe) and two nights at Solage.
The $6,000 entry fee is due by January 6th and includes all meals and lodging (double
occupancy) for the period of April 29-May3, 2012 for both the driver and co-driver, with the
exception of the second day lunch.

2011 California Mille: For 2011, the California Mille will once again start in San Francisco, hosted by our long-time friends at the Fairmont Hotel. And we'll finish, on our fifth night at The Lodge in Sonoma. In between, we have some changes in store that we think you'll like. This is the first time we've tried a hub-and-spoke style route. We think you'll enjoy it.

2009 California Mille: 19th California Mille. This is our biggest event of the year. 1000 miles throughout Northern California over 4 days, 26-30 April 2009. Our annual open display of California Mille cars and Palo Alto Concours classics on Sunday afternoon, 26 April. The $5,800 entry fee includes all meals and lodging (double occupancy) for 26 - 30 April 2009 for both driver and co-driver. Entry Deadline: 10 January 2009. 2008 California Mille: Allowed Car Entires: When the first Mille Miglia revival was held in 1982, cars were only 25 years old. Now, they’re 51! So we’ve decided to allow a very few post ’57 cars each year, as long as they’re fundamentally the same design as a ‘57 or earlier predecessor. For example, this will make all 356’s and Alfa Guilia’s eligible for consideration. But it won’t help Jaguar XK-E’s – they’re so obviously a next-generation car. Last Night of the 2008 Mille: A surprise is in store on the last night of the 2008 Mille. On that day, May 1, 2008, a fine new lodge, in a spectacular location, is opening near Sausalito. It’s Cavallopoint – the Lodge at the Golden Gate.

A two-day, 500 mile backroads tour of California from Pasadena to Monterey to kick-off “Monterey Week.”
Many designers from the auto manufacturers’ Southern California design studios are expected to join us, driving their favorite collector cars.
Open to any car possessing design merit, this is your chance to rub shoulders with the people who create our cars.

2009 TOUR: We'll meet at 11:00 AM on Oct. 16 at the Haggin Museum, 1210 Pershing Ave. (Pershing Exit off I-5 in Stockton) Stockton, CA,
tel 209-940-6300. Lunch will be served, after which we will depart on the tour. You'll need a reservation at River Ranch Lodge, 2285 River Road, Tahoe City, tel 530-583-4264 for 16th & 17th Oct. Tell them you're part of the motor tour group. The event will conclude with a no-host lunch in the Stockton on Sunday, 18 Oct.
2008 TOUR: The Mille Autunno will be upgraded this year, both as to length and richness of content. Starting at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena. 825 miles over three driving days – 95% non-freeways. Overnights: The Inn at Morro Bay, Quail Lodge. Finishing at the Cavallopoint Lodge in Sausalito, the newest, spectacular lodge you can imagine. Cars – Mille Miglia style up to 1972. It is intended to be as nice as the California Mille, but to offer acceptance to post-57 cars.
2007 Route: We'll meet in Stockton at noon on Friday, 5 October, 2007, for lunch and drive to Kirkwood. Long drive on Saturday, then back to Kirkwood and on Sunday to Murphys for final lunch.
